What is an LPC-Associate?
A Licensed Professional Counselor Associate is an interim professional counselor who has completed a master’s level counseling degree program, and passed national examination requirements, and is working towards completing a set amount of supervised clinical hours. An LPC-Associate is qualified to provide mental health services. As an LPC-Associate I am supervised by Molly Rafferty, LPC-S.
What is a Good Faith Statement?
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost one day before your medical service. Under the law, mental health providers need to give patients who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services such as therapeutic services. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your good faith estimate you can dispute the bill. What is the difference between Mental Health Coach and Counseling
Coaching is available for those who are stable both mentally and emotionally to start addressing their goals in a solution-focused based approach. Coaching is not a place to treat and/or diagnosis mental health conditions. I am qualified for coaching and can help women who reside in the United States.
Counseling is administered by therapist who meet the necessary state requirements who can assist you in your mental health needs. Being skilled in knowing a plethora of mental health diagnosis and trained in using scientifically proven therapy techniques; I am able to meet your individual mental health needs. As an LPC-A under supervision of Molly Rafferty, I am able to offer counseling services to women who reside in the state of Texas.
What is a Superbill?
A superbill is a detailed invoice outlining the services a client received. Therapists may need to generate a superbill when they are not on a client’s insurance company’s panel. The client submits the superbill directly to the insurer, giving the insurer all the information they need to pay the claim.
